Natural Oven Cleaning
After dealing with asthma I start researching way to clean without killing myself. I flirted what I thought was less harmful and still had a bad reaction. So I began a hobby of collecting nontoxic ways to clean.
Old Harmful Cleaning An Oven
Cleaning those baked on doors are such a problem when your oven doesn't have a automatic cleaner on it . But what do you do about that. Well of course a lot of:
- scrubbing
- unsafe fumes
The fact of the matter is we hate it so bad that avoiding it makes it tougher to face.
Best/Safe Way To Clean An Oven
Baking soda and vinegar! Yes I said it . Chemical free baby!
- Open oven door and pour baking soda on it
- Pour equal amount of vinegar on it and watch it bubble
- Harmless chemical reaction is removing burnt food
- Wipe after 3-5 minutes
Mix them together like a paste . Rub on the inside of the oven door and let sit for about 10-15 minutes. Be patient if your door has been neglected. After a few treatments you will not dread cleaning your oven. You may even do it more often to keep it spotless.
Use this mix on oven spills too! The harsh chemical that we normally use are harmful for you and children. You have no idea what the exposure can do to your lungs and skin.
Household Cleaning Tips
BONUS TIP 1
If you burn a pot cooking. Pour baking soda directly on the burnt area. Pour equal amount or less vinegar in it.
Then let is sit over night. Use a rubber spatula to scrap up burned food.( remove excess before you begin).
BONUS TIP 2
Clean delicate counter tops with baking soda and vinegar paste. This is very good for scratch prevention.For stains let it sit for 15 minutes.
